Welcome to the Eta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at the University of Alabama. The Eta Chapter was founded March 21, 1907, making it the second oldest women's sorority at the University of Alabama. Eta was the first active chapter of Alpha Delta Pi in the state of Alabama and the seventh chapter in the country. We are currently the third oldest open chapter of Alpha Delta Pi. In 2007, the Eta Chapter celebrated 100 years of sisterhood with its current members, alumnae, and international officers. Alpha Delta Pi takes pride in being the first secret society for collegiate women.
Across the nation and on Alabama's campus, ADPi's are known as bright, classy, and fun young women that share a sisterhood unlike any other. "We live for each other,” our open motto, is the foundation of Alpha Delta Pi's sisterhood. Out motto describes the close bond formed between each ADPi sister. These ties go deeper and last longer than any friendship ever could. From the moment our new Alphas step onto our lawn on Bid Day, they are welcomed with open arms and immediately become part of our family. With every achievement, competition, test, life lesson and new experience, each ADPi knows she can count on her sisters to be by her side.
